In memory of Samuel Zigrossi, a Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»-Auburn Class of 2020 medical student who passed away in 2018, this scholarship honors Sam’s contributions to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³», including the support he gave to his classmates and his many contributions to the citizens and patients he served as an active student in Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s local and international outreach programs.

The Science Foundation of West Virginia Endowed Scholarship promotes the profession of osteopathic physicians in the region of Bluefield, West Virginia.
The Sower Scholarship, based on the Bible parable, was established by Drs. Frank and Jennifer Clark with the intention in assisting Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» in maintaining and improving the education benefits that all students receive from a diverse study body.
The Women in Global Health Travel Scholarship Fund is an annual gift initially created by Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» Carolinas faculty and friends to provide an annual travel fund for deserving women.
The United Company Foundation Endowed Scholarship was established in 2019 to benefit medical students who agree to practice medicine in Southwest Virginia.
The William B. and Ann F. Holtzman Endowed Medical Scholarship Fund was established by the donors for a second, third, or fourth year medical student in good academic standing at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³». Preference is given to a student who plans to do primary care (Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pediatrics or OB-GYN) and is a student whose home residence is from an area where Holtzman Oil Corporation does business. Holtzman Corporation currently operates in many locations in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland.
The William G. Anderson, DO, Scholarship was established by Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» to honor the outstanding professional and public career of Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Founding Board of Director, Dr. William G. Anderson. His career included roles as a civil rights leader, osteopathic physician, surgeon, educator and hospital administrator. This scholarship recognizes an exceptional student at Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» at each of the four Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³» campuses who demonstrate leadership in supporting a diverse student body and principles and practices of osteopathic medicine. The student must also be fully committed to addressing the educational, societal and health needs of richly diverse populations.
