The William G. Anderson, DO, Scholarship was established by Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ to honor the outstanding professional and public career of Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­â€™s Founding Board of Director, Dr. William G. Anderson. His career included roles as a civil rights leader, osteopathic physician, surgeon, educator and hospital administrator. This scholarship recognizes an exceptional student at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ at each of the four Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»­ campuses who demonstrate leadership in supporting a diverse student body and principles and practices of osteopathic medicine. The student must also be fully committed to addressing the educational, societal and health needs of richly diverse populations.
