
Each spring, the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) honors the region’s very best public relations work with its Summit Awards. On Feb. 8, the of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» View magazine won a silver award in the chapter’s publications category.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» View is one of the College’s premier publications, telling stories about how our community is living the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» mission. From students on each of our campuses to alumni and friends across the country, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» family is providing healthcare to those who need it most and doing research that promotes human health.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» View is one way we tell those stories.
The spring 2023 issue of the magazine features the College’s memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Southern Command, which gives Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» students the chance to put their classroom learning into meaningful practice. You’ll also read about Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»-Auburn’s dedicated and creative anatomical services department, the state-of-the-art simulation center at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»-Carolinas, research being done at Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»-Louisiana, and Garnett Smith, whose generosity is helping Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»-Virginia students manage the cost of their educations, so they can provide care in their home communities.
The College’s Division of Communications, Marketing, Website and Publications is regularly recognized for its work on behalf of the College, having won dozens of awards over the last decade.
